FON wi-fi sharing in the universities

Martin writes (in spanish) about his plan for how FON can benefit universties and colleges. Basically the deal is that the college makes FON available throughout the campus, and in return, the students and lecturers will get free Internet access via FON. The university also gets the opportunity to earn revenue.

There is a similar initiative amongst some university networks in Europe called eduroam, which is run by TERENA, but which I don’t know much about. It would be great to find a way to cooperate with eduroam through a roaming agreement or similar mechanism.
