Well, it's easy to knock.

Yep, I saw that stuff too. I honestly think it is naivete rather than anything else. There are good reasons why this sort of clause goes in - because when ideas are shared, there is always a possibility of an intellectual property fight which stops everything from happening -. It would be better to phrase this in terms of the putting ideas into the public domain, rather than talking about ownership.

Similarly, the organization is supposed to have an advisory group. However, they can't seem to tell us who is on the advisory group. Again, this seems like a silly, naive thing to do for a national organization. Still, I'm sure they will sort it out.

It describes the government document 'Building Ireland’s Smart Economy A Framework for Sustainable Economic Renewal' as a 'plan', when it clearly is nothing of the sort. It's a vision, maybe a strategy, certainly an aspiration, but it's definitely not a plan.

There are a couple of other questions to be asked about this. Amas has a big bunch of government clients. So from that, it's a little hard to take that it's completely independent from any government work. However, we sometimes have to take things at face value.

My big concern is the 'false hope' thing.

Still, you have to wish anybody who is doing anything well and I would overlook all those issues.
